Dear Friends,
We had a wonderful start for the month of September. Our office participated in the 2017 Mid Maryland Mission of Mercy and Health Equity Festival that was held at the University of Maryland Xfinity Center. This charitable event provides free dental services to the underprivileged and underserved and is a collaborative effort by the Maryland Center for Health Equity, Catholic Charities of Washington, and the dental and health care community in the greater Washington area.
We are very proud of the five volunteers from our office who participated in the event, namely Dr. Wang, our hygienist Evelyn, and our office teammates Sonia, Yesenia and Patty. It was a meaningful and fun occasion as well as immensely satisfying. Check out our Facebook page for more photos from that day. Dr. Turpin was there too! What a pleasant surprise. We were so glad to see her.
We look forward to participating in more of these volunteer and charitable events in the future. It is a way of giving back to the community and saying thank you to the community that has given our office so much!
